Yes, all our iJetColor presses are designed to print directly onto a wide range of envelopes, including coin, #10, catalog, and remit styles. A #7 coin envelope at 3.5" x 6.5" sits comfortably inside the 3.25" x 3.5" minimum feed size of the compact 1175, and our vacuum and Quick Adjust feeders handle envelope thicknesses to 1/8" on the 1175 and 3/8" on the 1175C and 1175 Pro + PXG, ensuring reliable, full-bleed printing on finished envelopes without requiring special windows or conversion processes.

Cost per piece depends on ink coverage, envelope stock, and run length, and we will model it against your own job mix. Digital inkjet is faster and more profitable for short-run envelope production than offset, outsourcing, or toner, which is what makes short-run color jobs highly profitable. Yes, our systems use pigment-based HP ink jetted from HP FI-1000 PageWide and HP TIJ 4.0 thermal inkjet printheads. These inks are specifically formulated to be water-resistant, fade-resistant, and scratch-resistant, so the print is durable enough to withstand the rigors of the mail stream.
